The vines are rich with precious substances absorbed by the soil, when, in pre-historic times, the great Dolomite glacier moved down into the valley, shaping the area and excavating the bed of the historic Piave river. The wines lie in the heart of the D.O.C.G. wine area extending from Conegliano to Valdobbiadene. The chemical-physical composition of these rich hills, which time designed in the shape of an amphitheatre, gives the grapes those characteristic aromas and flavours.
