Bandarossa Grappa Riserva Barrique is the perfect synthesis of innovation, quality and passion. It’s secret lies in the careful blending of Grappa produced from a vacuum distillation still with Grappa slowly distilled in a copper alembic still heated using a bain-marie, a process which preserves its fragrance and produces a soft Grappa. After the pomace has been distilled the Grappa is kept for at least 18 months in small cherry or oak barrels where it slowly ages taking on its full colour, fragrance and flavour. During this time it becomes soft and rounded in taste making it more gentle and complete while the fragrance slowly turns into a complex and harmonious bouquet.

Area: Valdobbiadene D.O.C.G.
Varietal: Glera (formaly known as Prosecco)
General Characteristics: Grappa from the distillation of pomace made from premium grapes of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene area carefully selected at the moment of pressing.
Pomace: The pomace is put into fermentation containers using a technology called “GrappaSystem”. This system maintains the rich aromas of the Grappa right up to the moment of distillation via the careful control of acidity levels and addition of selected yeasts.
Distillation: The distillation process carefully blends Grappa from a vacuum distillation still with a smooth and fruity Grappa slowly distilled in a copper alembic still heated using a bain-marie.
Alcohol: 40%
Ageing: Aged in barriques for at least 18 months.
Appearance: With a clear, transparent amber colour containing absolutely no impurities or cloudiness.
Taste: Silky notes and combination of fruity, flowery and spicy fragrances means understanding the pleasure that Man knows how to get from the best of Nature’s gifts.
Serving Suggestions: In fine glassware at 16°C accompanied by good dark chocolate (at least 80%) or a moderately aromatic cigar.
